Thought I would bring all of you up to date on what is going on with the Domer Family. I am still busy with the PTSA at Angel's school. Thanks goodness I only have May and June to go. After that, I have no idea what I will be doing next year. Mark has a doctors appointment on Thursday, May 1st. Hopefully at that time we will find out what the next step is in his recovery. Angel is Angel. She is looking forward to the summer. We have a traip to Iowa planned and that s all she can think of. Thanks goodness she made it thru the WASL testing. I will let you all know what happened at Marks appointment and what the next step is. Til then, Keep smiling and God Bless.

Spring 2008...Only in Washington!!

Happy Spring 2008 to everyone. I don't know about you but I am not loving this stuff!! They said we were suppose to get a little snow today. At last measure it was right around 8 inches. I don't know about you, but in my book that is more than just a little snow. The flowers don't know if they are suppose to go back in the ground and hide for a few more months or come out and bloom. A warmer climate is sounding better and better all the time. Can you believe that my parents came home from sunny, warm, wonderful Arizona for this!! I don't know 90 degrees or 30 degrees...very very hard to choose!! Here are a few pics. Early in the day and about 10PM. Enjoy the weather and stay warm!!

Newest info on Mark

Well, Mark didn't get his shots yesterday. The specialist that he saw said that there is more damage in his neck then what the MRI shows. He will need a more specialized MRI and a electrode test on the nerves. So after sitting around in a room for 21/2 hours we headed back home. Now it is a waiting game with L&I. They need to get this all approved. We all know how fast the government moves!
Angel is doing well in school. We recently held a food drive and her class brought in 303 items for the Lynnwood Food Bank. They were the top givers and are being rewarded with an ice cream sundae party today. She also was one of the top readers for the schools read-a-thon and is being rewarded with a pizza party today. What a great Friday she is going to have.

Update on Mark

Mark has finally gotten the ok from L&I for the shots in his spine. For those of you that have not been updated. Mark has been out on L&I for 1 1/2 years now. He finally had shoulder surgery in December 2007 to repair a 3 inch tear in the tissue. He has gotten mobility in his arm again but his neck continues to have issues. He had an MRI and it revealed a bulged nerve in the right side of his neck. They have decided to try shots directly into the nerve in his spine to try and relieve the pressure in his nerve so it will heal on its own. He may need three sets of these shots with the first coming on Thursday, April 10, 2008. If these shots do not work then they are talking surgery. He is hoping after all is said and done that he will be able to return to his job that he dearly enjoys doing. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Easter 2008

When Angel woke up Easter morning the first thing she did was look for her basket. She found it behind the couch. What luck!! After church we had a wonderful brunch and Easter Egg hunt with the Merwin's. I hid over 100 plastic eggs. Mark had the privilege of filling them. Unfortunately we had bad weather once again and the hunt had to be in the house. Believe it or not Angel is still finding eggs!! There were eggs with $1, some with $5 and one lucky $10. All the others were loaded with candy. Angel found the $10 this year. They all had a good time. I enjoy watching them hunt for eggs as much as they enjoy looking for them. It was a wonderful day!! I enjoy having the kids around. It can never be too much.

February Trip to Arizona

Angel and I left Sea-Tac on Wednesday, February 13 for sunny Wellton, AZ. We went on a 10 day vacation and had a great time. We visited with mom and dad and all their friends.
